Republicans think that if it's snowing, global

warming must be a myth.  Project 2025 supports this ignorant view, claims the climate crisis doesn't exist, and seeks to withdraw the United States from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change AND the Paris Climate Agreement.   They're taking this measure even further by ceasing all federal grants to environmental advocacy groups, rescinding all climate policies from its foreign aid programs, and guts the EPA and its focus on climate change and green subsidies.

This massive move away from addressing climate change serves to 

benefit 3 groups: Republican politicians in the pocket of Big Coal and Big Oil and the oil and coal industries respectively. Meanwhile, fewer and fewer insurance companies are available, much less affordable, to provide coverage related to climate change disasters like flooding, fires, etc., despite the fact that these emergencies are on the rise across our country and the globe.
